Overview

Library Committee acts as a bridge between library administration, staff, and users to ensure the library operates effectively and meets its objectives.

Objectives:

• Promote reading habits and a learning culture for students and staff.
• Improve library resources and services.
• Ensure proper management and utilization of library materials.

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Recommend the purchase of books, journals, and digital resources.
• Review library policies and procedures.
• Monitor library usage and resource needs.
• Organize reading programs, book exhibitions, and literary events.

Composition:

The library committee consists of Principal Dr. Sr. Joice Maria as the Chairperson, Mrs. Ansu Maliyakal as Secretary, Mrs Remya Mohan T M as librarian. The committee meetings are conducted twice a year. The committee plays an important role in enhancing the quality, accessibility, and effectiveness of library services within an institution.
