MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE

The Maintenance Committee is constituted to ensure the timely maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the college infrastructure and facilities. The committee works in coordination with laboratory in-charges and classroom coordinators to identify maintenance requirements and undertake necessary corrective actions, thereby providing a safe, functional, and conducive environment for teaching, learning, and administrative activities.

Objectives of the Maintenance Committee

• To ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of the college infrastructure, laboratories, classrooms, equipment, and common facilities.
• To identify and address repair and maintenance requirements promptly to ensure the smooth functioning of academic and administrative activities.
• To establish an effective system for reporting, monitoring, and resolving maintenance-related issues.
• To provide a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students, faculty, and staff.
• To coordinate with laboratory in-charges, classroom coordinators, and other departments for timely identification and rectification of maintenance needs.
• To conduct periodic inspections of institutional facilities and recommend preventive maintenance measures.
• To ensure the optimal utilization and longevity of institutional resources through regular maintenance and repair.
• To maintain records of maintenance requests, actions taken, and completion status for accountability and quality assurance purposes.
